T.R.S. Industries was started in 1983 in the garage of Roger Cossette. Roger’s wife Claudia and son Richard joined shortly after and the company continued to grow. Richard’s wife Joy joined the company along with their sons Shane and Bob. Tarp manufacturing equipment was also purchased as we continued to grow.
In 1989 the company expanded to the Fargo Industrial Park and built a building large enough to drive a Semi Truck or trailer into the shop for repairs and installations. In 1992 and 1995 we added to the existing building to more than double our space. In 2005 T.R.S. Industries expanded to add the Fabrics Division, which was located directly behind the existing building and used for new tarp production and custom covers.
In 2009, T.R.S. Industries added a new building which housed production and the majority of the offices. The new location was 1230 40th St N, Fargo, ND. T.R.S. still had their location at 4119 14th Ave N, which was used to house installation of tarps and repair on large truck tarps.
In 2013, T.R.S. Industries added 36,000 square feet onto their new building, which increased manufacturing space to 69,000 square feet. This new addition was used to house all of the employees under one roof, in order to serve customers more efficiently. T.R.S. manufactures many of the parts for Roll Tarp Systems and stocks a wide selection of replacement tarps, lumber tarps, and steel tarps.
Roger spent 6 years as an Outside Sales Rep with Fireside Office in Fargo, before founding Christianson’s Business Furniture in 1993.
Christianson’s Business Furniture is the regional dealer for Haworth brand furniture, receiving the Best In Class distinction awarded to Haworth dealerships based on exceptional performance in market development, sales, customer satisfaction, operational excellence and enterprise development. This distinction was award Roger, his wife Kim and their team, in 2022 and multiple years prior.

January 1, 2023, an acquisition was completed by Fluid, a Minneapolis-based interior solutions company, for Christianson’s Fargo and St. Cloud locations. Roger Christianson will become Fluid’s Regional Market President and will join its executive leadership team.

A native of Michigan and graduate of Western Michigan University, Dan started with Midwest Communications in 2006 as host of a sports radio show in the Kalamazoo area.
Founded in Wausau, Wisconsin in 1958 by Duke Wright, Midwest Communications has grown from a single station to over 78 radio stations across Middle America. Shanna spent over 10yrs in the graphic design industry, working for both larger firms and as an independent. She also spent nearly 4yrs as a Graphic Design Trainer with the Skills & Technology Center, before founding The Web Shoppe in 2010, specializing in web design, marketing and SEO.
In 2014, she followed her passion, founding Creatively Uncorked. “I’m so excited to bring the paint and sip experience to Fargo-Moorhead and the surrounding area! Creatively Uncorked is the product of combined passions. With a background in art, teaching, and wine appreciation (wink), it is proving to be the perfect fit. The whole idea is to provide an opportunity for people to relax, have some laughs and get creative with their friends and co-workers. It’s fun art, not fine art, so whether you’re the artistic type or can’t draw a stick figure, you will have a good time.”
The first Creatively Uncorked studio opened in the Moorhead Center Mall in 2015, relocated to West Fargo in 2016 and expanded to downtown Fargo in 2017.
Today, Shanna is enjoying more time at the lake, and Creatively Uncorked operates online with Art Kits TO-GO! and on the road, bringing the painting party to your location.
She has also taken on enjoyable part-time positions, including Secretary of the Red River Watercolor Society and Gallery Assistant at Art of the Lakes Gallery in Battle Lake.
Maddie founded Blue Cypher Bookkeeping, a completely virtual firm, in 2019.
Having worked as a grants manager in a private foundation, Maddie knew how important solid financials were for nonprofits to show the true value of their programs. It’s also vital for for-profit businesses to know their numbers in order to grow their business and get the most deductions at tax time. Yet tracking finances is something many busy founders and owners hated doing and didn’t have the expertise, time or energy to deal with while trying to run and grow their business.
A detail-oriented entrepreneur with a love of finance and an eye for efficiency, she knew she could take bookkeeping off the plate of busy business owners and nonprofit founders and help them get back to doing what they love.
Maddie is a Minnesota State University of Moorhead alum and Fargo, ND native. When not balancing books, she enjoys nerding out about numbers with her husband, Zach, a math teacher. Together, they enjoy swing dancing, getting together with friends, and trying new recipes in the kitchen. While she is based in Fargo, ND, Blue Cypher Bookkeeping works with companies across the United States.
After years of managing businesses and advising over a thousand businesses, I have the tools, knowledge and experience to do pretty much anything I could ever dream of. My problem is that I’m not much of a dreamer, I’ve just always loved helping others and that seemed to be serving the purpose of fulfillment.
Now it’s become very clear to me that my dream is to be part of a business world where great power and great responsibility go hand in hand, where corporate social responsibility is a strategy not a hindsight. Will is a former CIA officer and national security subject-matter expert in aerospace and satellite systems, space/counterspace weapons system counterproliferation, and aerospace-sector geopolitics. He serves as Director of Business Development for Airial Robotics where he is leading the multinational UAV manufacturer’s North Dakota expansion into both the Fargo and Grand Forks regions, and was recently selected for North Dakota’s Builders & Backers program where he is spearheading an effort to establish a nonprofit museum incubator. William is a Fellow at The Explorers Club and the Royal Astronomical Society, a National Eagle Scout Association World Explorer, and a past invited lecturer at NASA, USCG NAVCEN, USFS, The UAS Summit, the American Geographical Society, the Naval Postgraduate School, and the Fargo Air Museum where his private collection of Cold War Space Race artifacts is on display. William is a competitive ultramarathon runner and pistol instructor; he is currently training as a Muay Thai fighter while pursuing his solo skydiver license, FAA Part 107 drone pilot license, PADI Divemaster certification, and PADI Master Scuba Diver certification.
