All Matt’s Automotive Service Center locations in the Fargo-Moorhead communities are known for providing exceptional customer care and vehicle service that is unmatched in its industry.

However, for Lachowitzer, being a successful business goes far beyond auto repair. The team at Matt’s Automotive is highly trained in guest experience, relationship building, emotional intelligence and providing an unmatched experience to their customers, rather than just selling to them. “We are trying to change what people think when they think of auto repair,” he said.

Giving back to the Fargo-Moorhead community is one of the company’s core values. In the last thirteen years, Matt’s Auto has donated over $1.4 million dollars. Lachowitzer, who loves supporting local charities and organizations, said, “I don’t want to be remembered for fixing cars, I want to be remembered for what we’ve done for this community.”

Brook is a serial entrepreneur, currently Owner and President of numerous companies, including;

  • BLI Inc. | Since 2021, A dba, Ride or Die Trucking Company, is a freight transportation business born out of the pandemic. In the early days of The Shutdown, there was a sudden realization that the existing entertainment, gaming, and events businesses were completely vulnerable to the new and real threat of a catastrophe. It was recognized that we had the facilities and expertise in place to haul passengers, but we did not have the assets to haul freight. Therefore, the concept of building an “Essential Service” took hold. And when bars reopened in North Dakota and we got back to work slowly but surely with events and entertainment, the seeds had already been planted and the work had been done to prepare for a new venture, “Ride or Die Trucking Company”.
  • FPN Gaming | Since 2010, North Dakota licensed distributor of gaming supplies including exclusive pull tab games, all major ND licensed electronic pull tab gaming systems, blackjack tables and supplies, custom prize boards, LED display cases, bingo, Dakota Poker Tour live streaming events, and other services for the purpose of raising funds for North Dakota charitable organizations.
  • Fargo Party Ride | Since 2009, Limo service specializing in unique Limo Bus/Party Buses for wedding transportation, bachelor/bachelorette parties, casino runs, Vikings ticket + transportation packages and more. Eight (8) unique vehicles to choose from in Fargo.
  • Fastball Productions | Since 2008, developing custom applications/solutions. Limo Leader reservation system, poker tour/league manager, sports extensions for Joomla, and others.
  • Free Poker Network, Inc. | Since 2005, marketing and promotions specializing in free-to-play Texas Holdem for bars/restaurants nationwide, over 250 locations. More than $1 million in prizes including 100+ World Series of Poker bracelet event seats have been given away since 2005.
  • Powerplay DJ, Inc., | Since 1994, mobile DJ service providing entertainment for all occasions in the upper midwest with offices in Fargo and Bismarck. Perform for 350+ weddings annually. DJ, Karaoke, Video, Trivia, Casino Fun Nights and related services. 12 sound & light shows plus photo booths.

Stacie has spent her entire career in nonprofits, including Director of Information and Crisis Services at FirstLink for 7yrs, before joining The Emergency Food Pantry in 2015. She said every job she has had has been about connecting people with resources.

The Emergency Food Pantry’s mission is to support the community by providing food to reduce hunger. For over 45 years, they have helped feed people in difficult situations.

“For me, if we can have the system in place for people to just say, ‘I’m fed today’ or ‘I’m fed for the week,’ then that’s going to give people the ability to work on other things that need to be stabilized in their life. If we’re hungry, we don’t do well. If you’re trying to figure out how you’re going to pay bills and put food on the table, if we can minimize those choices they have to make, we can help them keep their energy up so they’re able to get beyond that survival situation.”

Stacie is also CEO of STORM Training & Consulting, LLC. Areas of focus include Suicide Prevention, Team Dynamics, Organizational Effectiveness, Resilience, and Motivational Change.
