The M&A Collective (Momentum & Accountability) is an exclusive, high-impact group within The Executives Club Fargo-Moorhead, designed for business leaders who are serious about building momentum and staying accountable in both their personal and professional lives.
Each January, participants in The M&A Collective will identify 4 goals for the upcoming year. These can be personal, professional or company-related. Members will then meet, collaborate, motivate and work to hold themselves and each other accountable for achieving those goals.
The M&A Collective is a simple, but powerful platform for those who understand that the key to sustained success lies in the strength of the network around them.

1. Vision & Goal Setting (Q1)
Theme: Understanding Your Reasons
In the inaugural meeting of The M&A Collective, participants will focus on identifying their core goals for 2025.
This session is designed to help members clarify their ambitions, whether personal, professional, or organizational. Through guided exercises and peer collaboration, each participant will establish clear, measurable objectives and outline actionable steps to achieve them. Most importantly, we’ll assign a “why” to our goals.
The meeting will conclude with members committing to their goals and committing to being “accountability partners” to track progress throughout the year.

2. Accountability Check-In (Q2)
Theme: Building Momentum
The second meeting is centered on assessing progress toward the goals set in Q1.
Participants will share updates, successes, and challenges in a supportive yet results-focused environment. Peer feedback will play a crucial role as members help one another refine strategies and address obstacles. The session will include momentum-building exercises to reignite focus and energy, ensuring everyone stays on track for the next phase.

3. Mid-Year Momentum Boost (Q3)
Theme: Staying the Course
At the midpoint of the year, this session is designed to evaluate long-term progress and recalibrate goals as necessary.
Members will discuss lessons learned, celebrate milestones, and identify areas where they may need to pivot or double down. Group activities will emphasize maintaining momentum and navigating challenges with resilience. The meeting will also include opportunities to explore new strategies and gain insights from the collective expertise of the group.

4. Year-End Accountability & Reflection (Q4)
Theme: Achievement & Reflection
The final meeting of the year is both a celebration and a deep reflection on the progress made throughout 2025.
Participants will present their results, sharing the goals they achieved, the lessons learned, and the impact of their journey within The M&A Collective. The session will also include discussions about applying these insights to future endeavors and setting the stage for continued growth in 2026. Recognition and gratitude for the group’s support will be key highlights, ensuring everyone leaves inspired and empowered for the year ahead.
